Research Interests

I study the neural mechanisms supporting spoken and written language comprehension, asking how lexical, morphological/morphosyntactic and multimodal (speech and gesture) processes relate to underlying linguistic and semantic representations.

I use a combination of behavioural, natural language processing and neuroimaging methods (univariate and multivariate methods fMRI analyses; MEG). I am particularly interested in the specification of computational models of relevant linguistic phenomena to elucidate aspects of neural language processing.
