The purpose of the open meeting is to build a forum for Cambridge language sciences postdocs to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and professional development. Postdocs are invited to contribute ideas for events that can be held throughout the year to help meet these goals. Possible events may include 

(a) talks/workshops on impact development

(b) talks/workshops on public engagement and communication skills

(c) an interdisciplinary journal club for the language sciences 

(d) talks/workshops funding opportunities and grant writing skills

(e) social/networking events

You are all warmly invited to this event, where you will have the chance to meet with peers and share your ideas for events that can be held throughout the year to help meet these goals.

What we do

Cambridge Language Sciences is an Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge. Our virtual network connects researchers from five schools across the university as well as other world-leading research institutions. Our aim is to strengthen research collaborations and knowledge transfer across disciplines in order to address large-scale multi-disciplinary research challenges relating to language research.
