About
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Fundamental and Computational Linguistics from HSE University in 2023 (diploma with distinction) and my MPhil in Theoretical and Applied Linguistics by thesis at the University of Cambridge in 2024.
Since 2024: member of the editorial board of the journal "Indo-Iranian Languages"
2025–2026: lead organiser of the Old-World Conference in Phonology (OCP23) held in Cambridge
2024–2025: PhD representative on the Student-Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC), Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics
Research
My research interests focus on the phonetics/phonology interface and laryngeal phenomena in the world’s languages, particularly how phonological features are realised at the surface level. Recently, I have been researching acoustic cues for voicing. I also develop digital language resources such as online dictionaries. My current projects include a website about Pamir languages, various online dictionaries (Persian, Ossetic, Serbian, Russian among others), and an online database of verbal colexification.
Teaching and supervision
2024–2025: teaching supervisions for LI7 (Phonology and Morphology)
