Itamar conducts research in the intersections of the digital humanities, social sciences, and data science. His research spans various topics, like how we can create big language datasets from online platforms, and how we can use these datasets to understand the way people learn and communicate.

Itamar also teaches quantitative and computational research methods at Cambridge, and promotes open-research practices.

What we do

Cambridge Language Sciences is an Interdisciplinary Research Centre at the University of Cambridge. Our virtual network connects researchers from five schools across the university as well as other world-leading research institutions. Our aim is to strengthen research collaborations and knowledge transfer across disciplines in order to address large-scale multi-disciplinary research challenges relating to language research.
