Cambridge Language Sciences

Interdisciplinary Research Centre

Cambrigdge Language Sciences is pleased to announce the launch of an Industry Supporters’ Club for the language sciences to strengthen collaboration with external partners and create new opportunities for engagement, knowledge exchange, and real-world impact.

Partner organisations will be able to connect directly with the language sciences community, showcase their work and recruitment opportunities through networking and engagement events, and to develop meaningful relationships with an established and engaged network of internationally-leading language researchers across all the schools of the University of Cambridge.

These partnerships will provide financial support for future CLS activities and will provide invaluable opportunities for the language sciences community to communicate their research to potential partners and stakeholders, to engage in policy-related activities, and to support research that is grounded in real-world applications. Our community will also benefit from co-hosted events that involve CLS members and these partner organisations, as well as access to jobs and internships, and understanding of alternative career paths outside of academia.

The Industry Supporters’ Club will be introduced at the CLS Early-Career Researcher Event & Career Fair for Language Scientists in September. Further details on this event will follow in our news bulletin.

Join our mailing list here to keep up to date.

Organisations interested in joining or learning more about the Industry Supporters’ Club are encouraged to get in touch with IRC Manager Richard Arlett at contact@languagesciences.cam.ac.uk
