Interdisciplinary Research Centre

PhD clinic 250x250
We are delighted to invite you to the third Cambridge PhD Clinic Workshop, to be held on the 31st of October in Room B4, Institute of Criminology. As our main speaker for the day, we will be welcoming Chris Surridge, Chief Editor at Nature Publishing Group.

The world of scientific publishing, as well as the role of individual researchers in disseminating science is changing rapidly. Many of our members have questions about the best way to approach this shifting landscape if one is just starting an academic career. The third workshop will cover this and related issues, and we will also talk about Open Access and the role of Social Media in academia.

The workshop is open to graduate students in language sciences and at the ESRC DTC, and is free.  Please register via our website at: http://cambridgephdclinic.com/

Note that the available spots may fill up faster than usual because of the Freshers Week, so act quickly! As always, there will be food, wine, and lots of fun!

We hope to see you there,
Nikola and Anastasia
