Research Assistant in Machine Learning for Textual Information Extraction (Fixed Term)

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 12 months. Commencing July 2018

A Research Assistant position is available in the Computer Laboratory at the University of Cambridge to work on textual information extraction for company investment reports working on the InnovateUK / EPSRC funded project, Virtual Investment Researcher.

The successful candidate will have experience in statistically-based natural language processing ideally with additional expertise in machine learning including active and deep learning. The ability to work in a multi-disciplinary English-speaking team and good software engineering skills in Java and Python are essential.
