Research Laboratory Manager (psycholinguistics, phonetics and computational linguistics)

Theoretical and Applied Linguistics

Theoretical and Applied Linguistics (TAL) is seeking a Research Laboratory Manager to maintain and manage its three research laboratories (in psycholinguistics, phonetics, and computational linguistics), and to train researchers and students in the use of equipment for Linguistic experiments and data analysis, such as EEG, eye-tracking, electropalatography, electroglottography, narometer, ultrasound, audio and video recording, etc.

This is a newly created post and the role holder will work closely with academic staff in TAL and IT and Administrative staff in the Faculty.

The role holder will provide management of the research laboratories and specialist technical support to staff and students to enable the successful operation of research projects and research-related teaching.

The closing date for applications is Midnight on Monday 23rd July 2018
