University Lecturer in Computational Linguistics/Natural Language Processing

Theoretical and Applied Linguistics

We are seeking candidates with a Ph.D. degree and post-doctoral experience in Computational Linguistics/NLP and who can demonstrate an excellent track record of independent research and publication in this field. Experience of modern machine learning and its application to NLP is also essential. Preference will be given to candidates with broad and cross-disciplinary research interests. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching, hence prior teaching experience is essential. In addition you will be required to contribute to the administration of the Faculty.

The post will be based at the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages which houses a research laboratory in Computational Linguistics (Language Technology Lab - http://ltl.mml.cam.ac.uk).
